The ahupua'a of Kahana is truly a special place.  Home of the strong ʻĀhiu wind, Kahana thrives through kalo cultivation, loko i'a revitalization, mo'olelo and the kanaka that continue to make up its community today.  This ahupua'a consists of many special and sacred wahi pana.  Makali'i, Pu'u Pi'ei(Ki'ei), Kila, Ka'uninio ko'a, Kapa 'Ele'ele Ko'a, Kalehualoa, Kahawainui, Huilua loko i'a, Pu'u o Mahie and Makane Heiau to name a few.  This purpose of this page is to serve as an introduction to the ahupua'a of Kahana and open the interaction of learning for all interested.  Mahalo nui loa and enjoy!
